Practical Tips
- Best season: Spring (April-June) and autumn (September-October). Summer can be hot in lower areas. Winter brings snow to the mountains.
- Footwear: Waterproof hiking boots, even in summer (trails can be damp).
- Water: Always carry at least 1.5L per person. Not all trails have water fountains.
- GPS: Download the routes on Wikiloc or AllTrails before setting off.
- Safety: Tell someone about your route. Mobile coverage can be weak in the mountains.
